Since ancient times, we have known that drinking “cold water” is not good for the body because it is easy to get unwanted diseases. But when going abroad, do you see many people in the habit of drinking water directly from the tap? Is their “water” any different from ours?
Currently, in some advanced countries in the world such as the US, France, Japan, Singapore … the use of drinking water directly at the faucet is very safe for health. These countries all have a strict system of safety standards for water treatment plants.
In fact, in Vietnam, drinking water directly at the tap is no longer a new concept, but the technology used in Vietnam today is mainly traditional methods. In addition, the current water quality of the city is not guaranteed for the intended use because in the process of transferring water from the water supply plant to the user unit, the pipe network may be damaged and leaked, the Pollutants in the outside environment can enter the pipeline system and cause re-contamination of the water supply. In addition, during the operation of the water supply network, the operator will conduct flushing of the pipeline, leading to abnormally high sediment content in the water.
